Terms & Conditions

Upon engaging in services provided by Mint & Sage Events Pty Ltd you are accepting and consenting to the practices as outline in these terms and conditions. 

OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Mint & Sage Events Pty Ltd.
Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Mint & Sage Events. 
Mint & Sage Events Pty Ltd provides this website to users conditioned upon acceptance of all terms and conditions.


By browsing our website, visiting our store location, and/or purchasing goods, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions referenced herein.

You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, or have reviewed and accepted these terms and conditions with your parent or guardian. We will assume that this is the case, and provide our services on this basis.

A breach to or violation of any of the terms and conditions will result in immediate termination of our services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at anytime.

Mint & Sage Events reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions. 
Your continued use of or access of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.


Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accessing or using our services. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or any services.

COMMITMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

As a client of Mint & Sage Events your commitment is to uphold the terms and conditions as set forth.

PRODUCTS AND PRICING

Products are subject to availability.
Certain products and services may be available exclusively in-store and/or online through our website.

Prices for our products are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at anytime to modify or discontinue the service without notice.
We shall not be liable for any modification, price change, or discontinuation of the service.

HIRE ORDERS

Hire orders may be placed directly through our website, and/or during a visit in-store.

A minimum payment equivalent to 50% of the product price is due to secure a Hire Order.
We do not offer holds on products.

Hire orders come into existence only once confirmation is issued to the client. 

Order confirmations may take up to 24 hours where time is required to process order placement, including but not limited to where placement is made outside trading hours, on public holidays and/or during peak periods. 

The balance of the product price, alongside any additional charges is payable upon collection or prior to delivery.

Orders placed less then 24 hours prior to dispatch date, or collection date are subject to a $25.00 surcharge. 


Mint & Sage Events reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason including, without limitation, the clients history, the unavailability of any product, and/or an error in the order placement.

GARMENT EXCHANGE

At Mint & Sage Events we offer a complimentary Garment Exchange option.

Clients are welcome to exchange the chosen product for another, twice between order placement and receival.
Payment made towards the initial product are retained on the order, and applied to the exchange.

Garment exchange is subject to availability.

IN-STORE TRY ON 

At Mint & Sage Events we offer a complimentary try ons from our brick & mortar location The Studio.

Appointment Cancelation Policy.
When booking an appointment with Mint & Sage Events you agree to our Cancellation Policy.

We ask that you offer at least 12 hours notice of cancellation to respect our business and customers. Where less than 12 hours notice is given we can offer a rescheduling to another date/time. Where no notice is given prior to the appointment a $30.00 Cancellation Fee will be applicable. This fee is payable by Direct Debit. We appreciate your understanding. 

 

POSTAL TRY ON ORDERS

Postal try on orders may be placed directly through our website. 

A minimum payment equivalent to 100% of the service price is due to secure a Postal Try On Order.
We do not offer holds on products.

Postal try on orders come into existence only once confirmation is issued to the client. 

Order confirmations may take up to 24 hours where time is required to process order placement, including but not limited to where placement is made outside trading hours, on public holidays and/or during peak periods. 

The balance of the service price, is payable 48Hrs prior to dispatch.

Shipping costs are inclusive within the postal try on service price. 

The product is held on tentative reservation until completion of the postal try on.

Following return of a postal try on order, a $25.00 store credit is issued, applicable towards continuation of hire order.
A complimentary 48 hour grace period is given to allow for a decision to be made on continuation, following completion.

Mint & Sage Events reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason including, without limitation, the clients history, the unavailability of any product, an error in the order placement.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled at anytime. Where cancellation occurs, store credit will be issued.

All payments are final, and as such non-refundable. 

Order cancellations must be advised fourteen [14] days prior to commencement of the hire period, to receive full store credit.

Where notification of cancellation is received less than fourteen [14] days prior, store credit will be issued minus any charges incurred on the preparation of the order including but not limited to, alterations, dry cleaning, and/or shipping fees.

Store Credit is not applicable where cancellation occurs following the commencement of the Hire Period. 

Mint & Sage Events is not responsible for cancellations regarding garment size/fit, and/or change of mind.

We recommend the use of our try on services, available to the client both in-store and by mail. 

EVENT POSTPONEMENT AND PERMANENT EVENT CANCELLATION

Where cancellation occurs due to circumstances brought about by Covid-19, for example, government cancellation of an event due to public health, a store credit with extended terms will be issued to the client.

Our response regarding Covid-19 has been compiled following guidelines issued by the ACCC.
Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.


Should your event be postponed due to Government Restrictions, a Store Credit will be issued against your cancelled order.

Event Postponement

Garment Unavailability

In the event your garment is unavailable for the revised date, you're able to apply your credit to another garment or retain store credit for future use with extended terms.
 

Permanent Event Cancellation

In line with the ACCC advice, when an event is cancelled due to government decision, we will offer a store credit only.
 

STORE CREDIT

Store credits are valid for three years. 

Store credits generated due to Covid-19 Circumstances are issued with extended terms:

- Redeemable on goods and services, including beauty services and purchase products.

- Issued without expiry.

- Transferable (pass credit to someone else). 

All store credits issued by Mint & Sage Events, with or without extended terms are single use. Store Credits cannot be redeemed on charges and/or fees incurred including but not limited to damages, late fees, and/or alteration charges.

HIRE PERIOD AND RETURN

The hire period commences when the client collects or receives the hire order.
Upon receiving the product, the client accepts full responsibility for safekeeping during possession.

Mint & Sage Events retains ownership of the product.

Return is due on the date determined by Mint & Sage Events, as acknowledge on order correspondence.

Clients who order with Return Mail are advised to lodged over the counter at Australia Post, or via yellow box only.
Failure to lodge as advised may incur late fees, and/or additional charges where loss occurs as a result.


Where hire orders are not returned by the agreed date Mint & Sage Events may charge additional fees until returned.
The client authorises Mint & Sage Events to deduct and/or charge such additional fees. 

Such additional charges pertaining to return shall be charged at a fixed fee of $50.00 for each day overdue. 

If the client does not return within 15 days after the return date, Mint & Sage Events will deem non-returned and will charge 150% of the recommended retail price additional to late fees incurred. 

SHIPPING

Mint & Sage Events partners with TNT Australia [FedEx], Australia Post and DHL Group to undertake shipment of orders.

We ship Australia-wide via courier delivery, at a starting rate of $20.00 for metro and $25.00 for non-metro regions.

Shipping is not inclusive in the product cost. 

Mint & Sage Events will not be liable where delivery is not met.

Clients who have prearranged return mail are provided with a return bag, and prepaid, preaddressed mailer bag.
The product is to be placed inside the return bag, and package into mailer bag.

Return shipping is offered at a fixed rate of $15.00 for metro and $20.00 for non-metro regions.

Return mail is to be lodged over the counter at an Australia Post outlet, or via yellow express post box only.
Mint & Sage Events strongly advises clients to lodge over the counter, to obtain proof of lodgement receipt.

The client must follow return instructions, failure to lodge as advised may incur late fees, and/or additional charges.

DAMAGES AND DEFECTS

Charges will be incurred by the client where damage occurs to the product.

Should the product be damaged or stained beyond repair, whether or not such damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the client, then the client will be liable to pay for replacement of the product.

Mint & Sage Events reserves the right to assess the replacement value based on demand, and ability to replace product.


The client acknowledges the product will not be in original condition and may show some signs of fair wear and tear, and/or minor imperfections.

The client shall notify Mint & Sage Events of any defect within 5 hours of receiving the product.

GARMENT CARE, CLEANING AND ALTERATIONS

Mint & Sage Events solely undertakes all activity pertaining to cleaning and alterations of products.

The client agrees they will not attempt to clean, iron or alter the product in any way.

Mint & Sage Events offers discretionary alterations. 
Where requested and accepted, alterations incur additional charges.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we make no warranties about our services or our content under these terms. Mint & Sage Events reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate without notice, your access to our services under these terms and conditions. Mint & Sage Events will not be liable for any loss, cost, damage or liability that may arise as a result.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by the law, including the Australian Consumer Law in no event shall we be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or expense – irrespective of the manner in which it occurs, which may be suffered due to your use of our services and/or the information connected with our services under these terms and conditions.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold Mint & Sage Events Pty Ltd harmless from any claim or demand including reasonable fees arising out of your breach of these terms and conditions.
